A Little about me...
Hey There .....
I'm a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, friend, dog mama, secretary, gardener, restaurant owner, artist, designer, and ....Mother. I love being a mother above all else, but when I can sneak off and have my alone time, my favorite thing to do is paint and create. I've always been drawn to home design and decor. I caught the bug when we bought our first house in Annapolis 20 years ago. Fast forward to 2007 when my husband and I sold everything to pursue his dream of opening a restaurant. I don't know if it was the cute cedar sided cottage that we rented tucked into the woods on a beautiful river or just the enchantment of chasing a dream, but that is when I started to paint. It's weird looking back....it's like I didn't have a choice - I just needed to. For years I painted just for family and friends. It was very organic. I either had a finished painting that I knew someone would cherish or they would ask me to paint them something....a memory that they wanted me to capture. That's really what it is all about for me. My Craft
To Capture....the color of the water and sky when my husband and I are coming home from an evening fishing. The shade of green on the river during a snow storm. Twilight at the beach in Rehoboth Delaware (the colors are so soft and comforting they don't seem real). The beach on Nantucket after you crack your first beer (thanks Lisa). Trying to capture Ireland from a photo that your Mother-in-law gave you. That's what it is all about. I want my art to become your memories. For you to look at my abstract (not always) and have it recall a memory that you have.

I decided to create limited edition prints recently. I wanted everyone that likes my work to be able to have it for their home within their budget. Each painting is limited in print, signed and numbered. I decided on a very special rice paper that if you choose you wouldn't have to put it behind glass.
